Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

RNKX is operated by Veryfy Global Corp. ("RNKX," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to RNKX services available through rnkx.app and the RNKX mobile applications. It does not apply to websites or services that we do not control.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

When you create an account or complete your profile, we may collect:

• Your Firebase user ID, email address, sign-in provider, and public display name.
• An age range and gender selection. You may select “Prefer not to say”; we do not ask for your exact birthdate.
• An optional self-reported Philippine region, province, and city or municipality, selected from the Philippine Statistics Authority's PSGC directory.
• Your feed, analytics, audience-insight, and notification preferences.
• Profile colors or initials, contribution totals, reputation rank, and badges.

Authentication providers such as Google, Facebook, or Apple send us the account details you authorize them to share. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal address.

Poll and community activity

We collect poll choices, comments, replies, reactions, shares, and reports you submit, along with related poll, option, user, and time information. Registered members may receive contribution totals, rank, or badges based on their activity.

Guest voting and installation integrity

A guest session uses an anonymous Firebase account. RNKX also creates a random installation identifier in local storage. When you vote, a cryptographic hash of that identifier is stored with the poll vote lock to help enforce one vote per installation. The raw installation identifier is not used as a public profile.

Device, network, analytics, advertising, and notification information

• Firebase and our infrastructure may process IP address, user-agent, app instance, device, operating-system, network, security, and diagnostic information when providing the service.
• If you enable usage analytics, Firebase Analytics processes app interactions such as screen views, votes, comments, shares, and feature use. RNKX starts analytics disabled and applies your saved choice after sign-in.
• If you allow notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and your notification preferences so we can deliver selected updates.
• On mobile, Google AdMob and its partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location inferred from network information, ad interactions, and device information. The ads consent form and operating-system controls determine whether eligible ads may be personalized. RNKX does not request precise GPS location for advertising.
• When you open a Philippine vote map, OpenFreeMap receives ordinary network details such as your IP address, user agent, and the Philippine map tiles requested. RNKX does not put your account, vote, saved home location, or precise coordinates in those tile requests.
• Local storage remembers guest-vote receipts, privacy choices, rewarded-ad benefits, and whether poll insights have been unlocked on that installation.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide accounts, public polls, guest voting, comments, reactions, and sharing.
• Show relevant local polls and check whether a saved home location falls within a poll's region, province, city, or municipality. Local polls require a registered account.
• Personalize your feed using topics you choose, when you enable that setting.
• Prevent duplicate votes, spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Operate reporting and moderation, including flagging repeatedly reported comments.
• Calculate vote totals, ranks, badges, and privacy-thresholded poll insights.
• Send notifications you select and enforce quiet hours and frequency limits.
• Measure and improve RNKX when you enable usage analytics.
• Display and measure advertising, subject to applicable consent and device choices.
• Comply with law, enforce our rules, and protect RNKX, users, and the public.

4. What is public and how grouped insights work

Your display name, avatar initials and color, rank, badges, contribution totals, comments, replies, and reactions may be visible to other users. Your email, age range, gender, home location, topic interests, consent settings, and notification tokens are not included in your public profile.

If you opt into grouped audience insights, RNKX may include eligible votes and profile categories in aggregate statistics. Poll insights are released only after minimum sample thresholds are met—currently at least 30 total votes for general insights and at least 50 qualifying votes for a demographic insight. Philippine vote maps require at least 30 consenting real votes with saved locations, and each displayed region requires at least 5 qualifying votes. Seed Lab activity is excluded from research location maps. We do not provide sponsors your email, raw private profile, or an individually identifiable voting history.

5. When information is shared

We may share or allow processing of information in these circumstances:

• Service providers. Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, database, hosting, server functions, messaging, and optional analytics. Google AdMob provides mobile advertising and consent tools. OpenFreeMap provides the base-map tiles used for Philippine regional vote maps.
• Identity providers. Google, Meta, and Apple process sign-in activity when you choose their sign-in method.
• Aggregated insights. Sponsors or business partners may receive grouped, thresholded reports that are not intended to identify an individual.
• Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our terms.
• Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Your choices and rights

• Change feed personalization, usage analytics, grouped audience insights, and topic interests from Profile → Privacy choices.
• Change notification categories and quiet-hours settings from Profile → Notifications.
• Open Profile → Ads & Privacy to review available Google ad privacy choices.
• Use your device settings to change notification or advertising permissions.
• Sign out at any time. Guest browsing and voting may still use an anonymous session.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to be informed, access, correct, object to or restrict processing, request deletion or blocking, receive portable data, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

7. Access, correction, and account deletion

You can permanently delete your RNKX account directly in the app: open Profile → Account & Data → Delete Account, review the notice, and confirm. The in-app process does not require a support request, a new account, or a password. If RNKX is inaccessible, the Data Deletion page provides a fallback request method.

In-app deletion removes the authentication account, private and public profile, notification data, comments and replies, reactions, pending community submissions, and other account-linked personal information. Individual vote records are stripped of the account link and optional location fields so aggregate poll totals can remain. We may retain limited de-identified or legally required records for security, fraud and duplicate-vote prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, child safety, moderation, or enforcing our agreements.

8. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the service you request and perform our agreement with you; with your consent for optional analytics, grouped audience insights, certain advertising, and notifications; for legitimate interests such as security, service improvement, moderation, and fraud prevention where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and to comply with legal obligations.

9. Retention

We retain account information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide RNKX. Poll activity, public content, moderation records, aggregate statistics, security records, and backups may be retained longer where needed for the purposes described above. Notification tokens are removed when they are invalid, replaced, or unregistered. We periodically review information and delete or de-identify it when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational requirements.

10. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and server-side validation. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Firebase and other providers may process information in the United States, the Philippines, and other countries where they or their agents operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from your home country.

11. Children

RNKX is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Additional age or parental-consent requirements may apply in some locations.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RNKX changes or as legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects your choices, we may also provide an in-app notice or ask you to review updated choices.
